St. Charles Lwanga City Parish has been engaged in the ministry of religious education that has been geared towards educating the children into catholic values in order to have better catholic Christians in future. In order to realize this, the parish organizes holiday and weekend catechetical classes especially for those who are in school.
A number of schools going children have undergone through catechetical classes and these have been successful even when there was a challenge of Covid 19 pandemic, however classes have resumed and are going on normally to educate children about the catholic faith. In order to further this ministry, Sunday schools have been organized order to have children go through basic catholic teachings for the children. At least two Sunday school classes are
organized every Sunday. Sunday schools’ classes have impacted greatly on the lives our children where some have been prepared to receive their first holy communion and/or other catechetical classes.
